Mark has been listening to mandolin players talk about the tone and quality of sound they want from their instruments. The result is a mandolin that has a deep chop while keeping the brightness for lead playing. Mark can create any style mandolin you prefer including F5, F4, Florentine, Mandolas and Mandocellos.

Note the exquisite detail and mother of pearl inlay that adorns this F-Model head.
Mother of pearl and holly purfling accent the sound hole of this F-Model... and hand rubbed aniline stain is used to create warm rich earthtones that color the highly flamed maple back and sides.
The undercut fingerboard extension is another Bluett innovation and is available as an option on all of his handcrafted mandolins.
The Fantail Bluett Mandolin is Mark's newest rendition of a classic F5. The clean lines of the headstock
design are reminiscent of vintage 1920's. Of course, the depth, quality and volume are indicative of the
high standards of all Bluett instruments.
